Our Vision Sanc-tu-ary: 1. a consecrated place 2. a place of refuge and protection 3. a place of encounter with the holy 4. a place to nourish the spirit Ca-fe: 1. a small and informal establishment serving various refreshments 2. a place for fun and friendship 3. a place to hang out and enjoy 4. a place to nourish the body At the Sanctuary Cafe, we want to break down the barriers between body and spirit, deep things and fun things. Our vision is to combine two kinds of space in one new space, and fuse them into a new reality. To turn this vision into reality, we created a space in our sanctuary with cafe seating and transformed our loft area to create a unique environment. Imagine sipping gourmet coffee and listening to a wide range of live and recorded music, surrounded by wooden beams and stained glass windows, in a non-commercial environment. Imagine finding thought-provoking secular and Christian reading material side-by-side. Imagine a whole new and diverse community of friends coming into existence.
